Show Accessibility
At Wool & Holly, we want to ensure that we create an accessible event and therefore, would like to share the information below to help you understand the event and set expectations.
For questions or specific accommodation requests, please reach out to woolandholly@gmail.com.
ADA ACCESS & EVENT BUILDING
Our venue is ADA compliant, including barrier free entry, push button doors, accessible parking in the front lot (6th Ave), and accessible bathrooms.
All of the event, including marketplace, demos, ticketing, etc. is all located on the same ground level floor.
For those with limited mobility or issues walking longer distances, the only entrance open to the event will be in the front of the building (6th Ave), so plan to park on that side of the building.
EVENT MAPS & GENERAL INFORMATION
Our program & event maps will include a marketplace floor plan for vendors/shopping, as well as hallways/walkways, location of bathrooms, rest/quiet areas, check-in, information, assistance, etc.
Vendor Booth & Aisle Sizes: All vendor booths are 10ft x 10ft, aisles between booths are approx. 10ft wide, and all circular community tables are 6ft circumference with dining style chairs.
Lighting: The marketplace is located in the atrium, which includes bright lighting and lots of skylights for natural light during daylight hours.
Music & Announcements: We will have several speakers positioned throughout the atrium, playing instrumental festive music. We will make approx. announcements 1-2 per hour, both for starting Demos and raffle prize winners. If the music feels too loud for the shopping experience, please don't hesitate to let us know.
Coat Check: We will be offering a free coat check at the checkin counter if you want to off-load heavier coats or larger purchases during the event.
Here is a photo of the atrium, where the main marketplace will be located.

MASKED HOURS
The end of public concern for Covid does not mean that there aren't still folks who would feel/be safer in public spaces if face masks were still required. As organizers, we have set aside times during the event where masks are required so that those who wear masks (by preference or necessity) can attend safely.
At Wool & Holly, the first hour of each day will be masked shopping hours. Masks will be required to be worn by both attendees and vendors during that time.
CHAIRS AND REST AREAS
We have multiple community table areas throughout the marketplace, which will include (2-4) 6-foot round tables with dining style chairs. Chairs do not have armrests and are not attached to the tables, so they are easily movable to accommodate the attendee's needs.
We also plan to have bistro style tables for attendees to stand at outside the marketplace.
We are not able to offer soft seating during this event, based on the seating available at the venue.
DEMONSTRATIONS
Our demonstrations will take place at the top of the hour for the duration of both days of the event. The demo table is a 6-foot circular table located in the main lobby, prior to entering the marketplace. Attendees are welcome to sit, as space allows, or stand behind the seated guests, with the demonstrator located on the far side of the table.
Attendees who have sensitivities to crowding (or who otherwise need more physical space) may stand behind the demonstrator, if that is more comfortable. We have instructed our demonstrators to not call attention to anyone who chooses to sit/stand further away.
GENDER NEUTRAL BATHROOMS
People of all genders are welcome at our event and we have a gender neutral, single stall bathroom available during the hours of the event. It is located near the back of the marketplace and will be noted on our program maps.
Gendered bathrooms are also available in the back of the marketplace, or near the main lobby/entrance.
STAFF PRONOUN PINS & IDENTIFICATIONS
All of our staff and vendors will be wearing badges that include their pronouns and we have instructed them that pronouns will be respected here.
All Wool & Holly event organizers/staff will be wearing RED lanyards and aprons of either red/green/pink.
Vendors will be wearing red/yellow lanyards with name badges.
If you need immediate support, we will always have staff at the check-in table.
NURSING ROOMS
If you need to nurse or pump during the event, please let a staff member know and we will welcome you into a private space in our vendor break area.
