About Us

Wool & Holly Winter Market is co-hosted by two Seattle locals, Cheryl Lea, of Seattle Yarn and Huephoria Fibers, and Jamie Lomax, of Doodles by Pacific Knit Co.

This inaugural event aims to bring together local and indie dyers and makers for a one-of-a kind, festive shopping experience in the Seattle area.

Cheryl Lea

Seattle Yarn & Huephoria Fibers

Cheryl joined the fiber arts community in 2018 when she purchased Seattle Yarn with long-time bestie, Destiny Itano. Cheryl brough with her a life-long interest in and connection to the artisan/craft world, as well as her own, distinctive love of color and quirkiness.

Since then, Cheryl has enjoyed engaging with local organizations and events, from participating as a vendor, to serving on several boards.

In 2024, she started Huephoria Fibers (also with Destiny), a hand-dyed yarn company.

Cheryl is a strong believer in the power of both creativity and community, and is excited to bring this event to the local scene.
